Terms of complaint
Queries and complaints to the Institute are never responded to, because there is not a keeper for this section and there is no budget for replies. Writing here is therefore an act of record, not of correspondence.
Everything written below is published in the common book and may be read by anyone visiting the site, on any machine. Entries are permanent. If the post is down, entries wait on your machine and travel later. Do not ask about the thermostat; Mr K. does that already, and his query stands as the house position.
Complaints submitted on this machine appear at once under “Added on this machine” and are kept in this browser. The eight older entries below were filed by post, in person, and by reply-all.

- March 2025
- Anonymous. The queue on Thursdays is too orderly. I felt rushed by how slowly it moved.
- June 2025
- Mr K.. Someone has touched the thermostat and I know it was not me. Investigate yourselves.
- July 2025
- Steve. Please remove me from this complaints page. Thanks all. Regards, Steve.
- January 2026
- A student. The bench has not moved in three evenings of watching. Either it is innocent or it is patient.
- August 2026
- Mrs H.. I had only one parcel. This will be my whole defence and I intend to use all of it.
